a simple afternoon in Ikea and lucky for me they had a sale, so of course I picked up a few bargains and a few essentials… the one which has kept on giving was the £12 duvet cover and pillowcase set
i also love the flat fabric covered buttons that I am saving for a rainy day project too.
in principal this is not the detail that I want for this dress but to make the toile in this stripe fabric it is necessary to adjust according to the stripe, so to maintain the clean lines i had to cut the bodice in one piece.
THE ISSUE: now I don’t know how I WANT TO FINISH THE FINAL GARMENT. choiceS, CHOICES…
